We finally registered our little girl

It only took us three weeks to agree upon her full name but we arrived at it just in time. Her name is Brianna Patricia Maxine Gilson. She is thriving on breastmilk too, she was 6lbs15oz and is now 8lbs1oz. It amazes us everyday how fast babies learn and grow. Ahh we are so lucky.
Happy new year everyone! It will be absolutely fantastic!

Scratch our names off the list...

... 'cos we've finally had our baby.

On December 16th, 2007, at approximately 12:44 am, our son Declan Micah John arrived from womb into his very happy and relieved mother and father's arms. At birth, he weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and stretched at 52.5 cm. Andrea and Declan were, thankfully, quite healthy after what was a very quick birth, and only a few hours later were sleeping peacefully in their newly made hospital beds.

Thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers throughout.

Our Little Girl

We are pleased to announce the arrival of our baby girl, Emma Elise Marika Wevers. She was born on December 8th, her daddy's birthday, at 10:29 am via C section. She weighed 9 pounds 4 ounces and measured 21 and a quarter inches long. She has a full head of black hair and the most precious little smile. Though sleep deprived, everyone is doing great. Breastfeeding has its challenges at times, but we continue to persevere and Emma is gaining weight. We hope all is well with everyone and we look forward to sharing stories and seeing all of the beautiful babies at the reunion.

Welcome Brianna

We had our baby girl Brianna on Friday, November 30th at 12:55 am . She weighed 6lbs 15oz. Labour wasn't pleasant but we all survived . Mike was a fabulous coach ,I couldn't have done it without him. Are all of you who have had your babies as sleep deprived as I am? Breastfeding takes alot out of you, drink plenty of fluids. To those of you who are still expecting, Good luck and congratulations to everyone!

Our Little Boy, Robin and Terry

Hi everyone,

Terry and I are pleased to announce the arrival of our little boy on Dec 2 at 10:56 pm.  He is happy and healthy.  We named him Tristan Robert Terrance Lam.  He was 6 pounds and 49 cm long.  He has a full head of hair!  

I ended up having an emergency C section but am recovering and have not had a lot of pain.

We're home

We had our baby November 27th at 10:29 am. It's a girl and we name her Rutendo Eva. She was 8 lbs 7 ozs! We got home Thursday and will post some more info soon.

Just thought I would touch base. We were hoping to come to class last night, but Dallas was sprung from the hospital in the afternoon and didn't want to take him out in the cold. I finally got it done.

I realize this is a little late for some couples, who have already had baby. However, I hope this will still all work out. As tonight is our last class I plan on bringing a completed email list for everyone to review, just to make sure I have names and emails right, I do not want to mistakenly leave someone out.

As stated on the right I do plan on updating this blog as much as possible with as much info as I acquire, but as many people know, it can be hard to remember things, so if I forget anything, send me an email and let me know, I would really appreciate it.

For those who have already had baby, it would be great to have pictures of baby, with Mom and Dad too, so that everyone can see that happy family together.

I will see everyone tonight.
